I don't think it works for the 64 bit version, but it works perfect for the 32 bit version, which I use anyway. However, Tom Knight has some very good templates in his Design Base collections also.Īlso, there is a free marco out there to easily change color. I do have to say, I have used some of their templates. I have even done a few macros myself that do my customer proofs. There are tons of macros out there that do the same thing as most of what SD does. I could not and would not recommend their software to anyone. It just took them 2 years to decide to do something!!

I wouldn't install their junk if they gave it to me for free, which I very seriously don't think they would do.

Wanted to talk with me and workout my problems with their junky Smart Designer. They were so sweet sugar wouldn't melt in their mouth. About a month ago, I got a voice mail from them. I have bad mouthed them on ever forum I am on. I then did a complete system clean and re-installed CorelDraw and the stupid Smart Designer Icons still try to load.

All this even after I completely uninstalled all versions of CorelDraw and smart designer and deleted all folders and everything else I could find related to either. I uninstalled Smart Designer completely, however there remains parts of it that I CAN NOT get ride of, that slow my system down and the icons still try to load. I hate Smart Designer, but I LOVE Design Base. About the same time I downloaded Design Base for FREE.

DAS told me they didn't have an upgrade for X6 and that when they did I would have to pay the full price for the upgrade. When CorelDraw X6 was released I upgraded. First couldn't get it to install, after a few days they sent me a different version that finally installed. Just before CorelDraw X6 was released, I bought Smart Designer 4.5 and a ton of templates. I shouldn't, but I just have to get in on this conversation.
